Photo Category Instructions
(Print these instructions for ease of use)

1. From your Choose Events page open an event that you wish to divide into Categories.

2. From the thumbnails page click on the menu bar selection "Add/Edit/Delete Categories".

3. From the Event Category/Group Maintenance page Select "Create/Edit/Delete Categories".

4. On the Create/Edit/Delete Categories page enter a category name, then click "Add This Category".

5. On the Create/Edit/Delete Categories page Continue adding categories (you may return later to add more). 

6. From  the Create/Edit/Delete Categories page click "Browse Images and Assign to Categories" after adding       categories.

7. On the Browse Images and Assign to Categories page check the "Add" box next to each category that you would like the image to appear in. You may also assign the Featured photo or  Group photo for the category at this time by clicking the respective Action button. Then click "Add image to CHECKED categories and advance". 

8. Continue Assigning photos to categories. Click "Return to Your Event" to preview the results and use your
    browsers "Back" button to go back and assign more photos.

9. After all Photos are assigned you may use the thumbnail page to edit the photos in the categories. Use the Control Option Buttons described below to edit the categories. You may also go to the Create/Edit/Delete Categories page at any time to Edit photos and Categories.

Image / Category Control Option Buttons

Featured Photo Select  Group Photo Select Remove Photo From Category Hide Photo from Web 

Featured Photo Select
     Selects the image to be displayed as the featured photo for its category.
     This Photo will appear next to the category description on the select category page.

Group Photo Select
     Selects the group shot for this category / event.  The group image is used when producing digital
     memory mates and other products.

Remove Photo From Category
     Removes the current photo from the category that you are viewing.

Hide Photo from Web 
     Hides the current photo from all clients and removes it from all categories.
     It can be restored using the restore feature and can be re-assigned to categories.
     Use the "Restore Images" menu item for an event, to restore a photo that was previously hidden.
