Please Read and follow this procedure
before downloading and installing the
OrderPicture.Com Image Manager software for
uploading and managing event images
Current Operating systems supported:
Windows 7 and Windows Vista*, Windows
XP, Windows 2000, Windows 98se
** always accept the default settings when installing the
software **
Step 1 - Download the software. When complete click the run button.
Click here to download
Step 2 - Click the Extract Button
Step 3 - Click the YES when asked to run the
program.
Step 4 -
Follow the instructions in the Setup Program
Step 5 - After installation is complete run the program by clicking your START button,
programs/orderpicture/orderpicture image manager
Step 6 -
When Asked, Always Update the Files then follow the instructions in the Image Manager software
to establish your client information.
Step 7 -

Most common software install problems ( in order of
likelihood ):
Fire Walls : (Almost all of the install problem calls we get)
Symptom: Computer BEEPS after clicking the start image manager or Hangs on Listing Files
Problem: System cannot finish downloading the software, the firewall is blocking
it.
Cure: Be sure to allow orderpicture.com access if your
firewall software prompts. You may be asked up to 3 times depending on your firewall. Make sure
Windows firewall "do not allow
exceptions" is NOT CHECKED. After allowing communications you may need to re-start the software. If you are using a 3rd party firewall or
internet security software follow the instructions provided by them for their
software. If you are in a company network check with your I.T. person for
network firewalls. Check internet routers and internet providers for firewalls.
Folder permissions and security settings
* WINDOWS 7 and VISTA USERS:
Symptom: Computer BEEPS after clicking the start image
manager or you are prompted to set folder permissions so software can update.
Problem: Orderpicture cannot update or replace files in the OrderPicture folder.
Cure: Set your user folder permissions for full-control on the c:\program_files\orderpicture folder.
Right click the c:\program_files\orderpicture folder.
Click properties
Click security tab
Click edit
Select your user name
Check the 'full control' box
Click OK and OK
Restart the software

Program and Extraction Directories :
Symptom: Computer BEEPS after clicking the start image
manager.
Problem: Software cannot update because it cannot find the programs.
Cure: Re-install the software in the default "c:\program files\orderpicture"
folder.
Update not performed on new install :
Symptom: Computer BEEPS after clicking the start image
manager.
Problem: Software was not updated on 1st install.
Cure: Re-Start the software and update checked files now.
Computer (system) files are out of date :
Symptom: Software will not install - repeats installing and
re-starting system over and over.
Problem: System is out of date and cannot install.
Cure:

Anti-Virus Software :
Symptom: Varies
Problem: Software cannot replace older versions on update
Cure: Disable any anti-virus software for the install then restart the
anti-virus program.
Internet Connection Problems:
Symptom: Computer BEEPS after clicking the start image
manager. Some features may be missing from the program (price list, etc.)
Problem: Software update was not completed due to a dropped connection.
Cure: Re-Start the software and update checked files now.
If the software stalls after starting the updates you may have a poor or limited
access ftp ports 20 & 21. There are 2 solutions to this problem:
1. Contact your ISP and see if they are throttling the ports 20 & 21 and correct
it.
2. Shut down and restart and update the software, repeat until all files are updated.
