Event Hot Folder System
The event hot folder system is designed for use with digital
cameras that are connected to the computer via wire or wireless systems.
How it works:
A "Hot Folder" event is created with the Image Manager Software.
A picture is taken and is saved on the computer in the pre-determined "Hot
Folder".
The Image Manager will rotate (camera dependent) and get the image ready for
upload.
The Process and Upload software will upload (if connected to the internet) or
prepare them for later.
It is possible to have multiple photographers shooting and uploading to the
same, or different events in the
same or different categories. Sports tournaments, School Classroom Photography,
Leagues all being
processed and made available for sale within moments on the website.
Creating a new hot folder event
In the Event Menu click on "setup a new hot folder event".
Enter an Event Name and click "Select Hot Folder".
Enter the Folder Path that your camera will be saving the images in.
Click "setup watermark" and complete the watermark.
Click "edit pricing" and complete the pricing.
Click "event details" and complete the details.
Click on "setup hot folder options" after a few moments the
Hot Folder Manager will open
You may select or create a category to put the images in, enter additional
keywords for searching on the web and select
rotation options. When ready click Save Settings.
Managing hot folder events
If it is not open you can access it In the Event Menu click on
"manage hot folders".
Double-Clicking a hot file will pause the system and show all the details for
that folder.

| Select of create a category | Opens the category window |
| Fixed keywords to search for | Adds these keywords to images processed by this hot folder |
| Save Settings | Saves the settings and resumes the manager |
| Hide Window | Hides window but keeps running - Closing the window will stop all Hot Folders. |
| Last Images | Displays last image processed and information |
After Double-Clicking a Hot file these options will appear.
| Save a Copy | Will copy the current hot file to a new file and allow you to change settings. You can quickly create multiple categories in the same event. |
| Delete the hot folder | Deletes the current file, but does not delete the event. |
Category Window
| Select from list or type in a new category | If there are current categories in the event you may select one, or add a new one. |
| No Category | Chooses no category and closes the window |
| Save | Saves the category setting and closes the window |
